Everyone (except one client whose sales team wasn't following up correctly) closed more than 15% of the leads they paid for.
In my experience, people who buy leads from low quality lead gen agencies or sellers like struggle because the lead is sold multiple times, to competitors.
It’s not unusual for solar companies to pay for 50 leads UP FRONT, and only get in touch with 10-20 of them.
And even then, it turns out the leads are typically tire kickers, price shoppers and time wasters.
Because of this, most solar companies burn through a lot of cash, get poor contact rates, and end up with a sales team that is pretty dejected and frustrated.
They then try someone else, only to get the same result. Over and over…
… the definition of insanity!
BUT... solar pros who only have to pay for fully verified and engaged phone leads in arrears, but also don’t get forced to pay large chunks of cash up front…
… end up having a lean, positive cash flowing business that can scale rapidly.
What's also holding most Solar businesses that buy leads back is they are paying for leads that are generated from hooks like:
“Free Solar Panels, absolutely no money down!”
Or
“Get solar panels with a government backed rebate!”
With our leads, we don’t ask our clients to “race to the bottom”.
We refuse to use marketing hooks that attract price shoppers.

25 leads should give you a MINIMUM of 3 new installations.
